Pickle Llama Found Standing in Dispatch Office at 5:40 A.M.; Staff Unsure How He Got In
The building has one door. It was locked. He was inside it.
Employees arriving at a freight terminal Tuesday morning found the Pickle Llama already standing in the dispatch office, chewing, facing the whiteboard.
The building has one entrance. It was locked. The alarm panel showed no entry between 6:14 p.m. Monday and 5:52 a.m. Tuesday. The Llama was observed at 5:40.
“He was just there,” said a dispatcher, who has asked the Gazette not to identify him because he would like to keep working there. “He’d already fixed the board.”
The whiteboard, which had tracked six trucks against nine loads for as long as anyone could remember, tracked nine.
The Llama declined to explain how he entered the building. He declined to explain how he had corrected the board. He declined, in total, four times, then left through the door, which was still locked.
